A food list is going to be directly tied to the menu for your trip. Menu's can be very complex or very easy to prepare. Here's a sample menu that is hearty but easy to prepare, and assumes that everyone will be responsible for their own snacks during the day.

DAY 1

       Breakfast Granola, fruit (bananas, apples), milk/yoghurt, tea&coffee = cold breakfast at Lees Ferry	
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety 
              throughout the trip to include swiss, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack), lettuce, cucumber, pickles, mustard, peanut butter, almond butter 
              and jelly (for folks who need to eat right away), fruit(apples, oranges), cookies and Pringles. Variations: Hummus, nutella, tuna, avocado
       Dinner Pre-made spinach lasagna in dutch oven, salad, garlic bread and specialty cookies for desert.


Day 2

       Breakfast  Eggs, muffins, tea&coffee, juice and sliced fruit
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety 
              throughout the trip to include swiss, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack), lettuce, cucumber, pickles, mustard, peanut butter, almond butter 
              and jelly (for folks who need to eat right away), fruit(apples, oranges), cookies and Pringles. Variations: Hummus, nutella, tuna, avocado
       Dinner Chicken/tofu teriyaki w/rice, fortune cookies for desert

Day 3

       Breakfast Oatmeal, tea&coffee, juice/fruit	
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety 
              throughout the trip to include swiss, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack), lettuce, cucumber, pickles, mustard, peanut butter, almond butter 
              and jelly (for folks who need to eat right away), fruit(apples, oranges), cookies and Pringles. Variations: Hummus, nutella, tuna, avocado
       Dinner Burgers(veggie), buns & Beans, salad, chocolate chunks

Day 4

       Breakfast Pancakes, veggy sausage, tea&coffee, juice/fruit	
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety 
              throughout the trip to include swiss, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack), lettuce, cucumber, pickles, mustard, peanut butter, almond butter 
              and jelly (for folks who need to eat right away), fruit(apples, oranges), cookies and Pringles. Variations: Hummus, nutella, tuna, avocado
       Dinner Pesto pasta w/Italian sausage(real and veggy), salad with bottled dressing, specialty cookies


Day 5

       Breakfast Eggs & bagels & cream cheese, tea&coffee, juice/fruit	
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety 
              throughout the trip to include swiss, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack), lettuce, cucumber, pickles, mustard, peanut butter, almond butter 
              and jelly (for folks who need to eat right away), fruit(apples, oranges), cookies and Pringles. Variations: Hummus, nutella, tuna, avocado
       Dinner Falafel & tabbouli, salad with olives and bottled dressing, chocolate and marshmellows
	

Day 6

       Breakfast Huevos Rancheros with tortillas, tea&coffee, juice/fruit	
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety 
              throughout the trip to include swiss, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack), lettuce, cucumber, pickles, mustard, peanut butter, almond butter 
              and jelly (for folks who need to eat right away), fruit(apples, oranges), cookies and Pringles. Variations: Hummus, nutella, tuna, avocado
       Dinner Grill Steaks (Day 6 is typically last night can keep steaks, veggy burgers for the veggy folks), mashed potatoes, carrots, licorice

Day 7

       Breakfast French toast, syrup, tea&coffee, juice/fruit
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety 
              throughout the trip to include swiss, cheddar, provolone, pepper jack), lettuce, cucumber, pickles, mustard, peanut butter, almond butter 
              and jelly (for folks who need to eat right away), fruit(apples, oranges), cookies and Pringles. Variations: Hummus, nutella, tuna. avocado
       Dinner Rataouille w/rice (eggplants, peppers, tomatoes, onion, gralic, zucchini, rice) pineapple upside down cake (requires a Dutch oven)


Day 8

       Breakfast Oatmeal, tea&coffee, juice/fruit
       Lunch  Make your own sandwiches = bread, Lunch meat (variety throughout the trip to include roast beef, turkey, ham, pepperoni), cheese (variety

       Dinner Mex-out (veggy refried beans, grated cheese, veggy ground beaf, olives, avocados,lettuce, tortillas, rice, jalapeno chocolate

Day 9

Day 23

       Breakfast Eggs & Muffins, who wants to do dishes on last morning?	
       Lunch Snacks until we reach Seligman. Eat there. 	
       DINNER IN THE OTHER WORLD	

If you want to go on for another week-plus to the Lake in the 25 days to Diamond and 5 days to the Lake January-February winter, just copy another 7 days from somewhere above.
